I have been working on this series for almost a year now, ideas have changed along with the techniques of the drawings and paintings. I have currently done almost 9 oil paintings of this idea and this one is the first drawing using charcoal, pastels, and india ink. This one shows a homeless man with a can in front of him with the vulture below. Previous work consisted of backgrounds depicting a cityscape and individualized faces. This new work has done away with that to focus more on the idea of them in the same space with no other relationship to there backgrounds, to focus more on the idea of them being closely related.
